Do you know of any cooking schools in the Playas del Coco area? I have searched online but haven’t been able to find much info.
Sammi says
Hi Heidi, there aren’t. You will have to go to San Jose.
Heidi says
Ok thanks.

They have Wal-Mart’s at the main cities. Not Manuel Antonio but before you get to Manuel Antonio and get anything you want as if you were here in the U.S. expect to pay a couple of bucks more for certain things such as products from the U.S. but they have most stuff that you find back home.
Sammi says
Yes there are a lot of Wal Marts in San Jose and we just got one in Liberia. They have much more than the normal supermarkets
Sammi says
Hi, we have written posts on both places you can read here: Playa Hermosa and Playa Tamarindo

We are going to Manuel Antonia area this summer. Can you tell me if we will be able to get soy milk there?
Tks, Tracie
Sammi says
Hi Tracie, yes you can find soy milk in most supermarkets. It is very $$$ though!
Tracie says
Thank you. What about perfume and die free laundry detergeant? I have to use something like tide free for my daughter.
Tracie
Sammi says
I have seen Tide in a few supermarkets but I’m not sure about die free. They might have one here that’s a local brand but I’m sure in the city at least you can find something equivalent. Perfume is super easy to find here, they sell it in all the beauty stores, the mall and even the pharmacy (I think).
