Useful information comes first
Our first priority is to give readers the best information we can. We do not charge businesses for visits or features on our blog.
Our intention when visiting a business is to share useful, firsthand information with our readers. However, a visit or invitation does not guarantee that we will publish content about the business. We may choose not to publish if the experience is not useful or relevant to our audience, or if we find that the business does not comply with applicable Costa Rican laws, regulations or government requirements. Editorial decisions remain with the Mytanfeet team.
As a local company, we want tourism to help Costa Rican communities and businesses grow. We believe local businesses can achieve more by working together, delivering quality experiences and building trust with travelers.
A commitment to responsible business
We only work with and write about businesses that are fully committed to complying with Costa Rican laws and regulations. That includes:
- Keeping the registrations, permits and authorizations required for your business up to date.
- Meeting tax obligations and issuing proper invoices (facturas) to clients.
- Maintaining the insurance and social security coverage required for your business and team.
- Following applicable safety and employment requirements.
