FAQ

What tours do you recommend?

For hiking and nature lovers, we highly recommend the Rincon de la Vieja National Park tours or Rio Celeste tour. Those are excellent for those who love the outdoors, nature, want to see wildlife and are in decent physical shape.

For adventure, white water rafting, horseback riding and any of the adventure combo tours are great. Just make sure to check the minimum age for children.

For family activities, the beach tours, safari float and adventure tours are the best.

For full day tours to see the rainforest or cloud forest, Arenal and Monteverde day trips are the best.

I can’t find the tour I want to do! Do you have any more available?

We have many other partners in Guanacaste that offers various tours in case what you are looking for is not on the list. Please check our Costa Rica deals page here or contact us to see if we can create a custom package for you.

I’m a solo traveler. Can I still get the Guanacaste day tours discount?

Yes! However, for solo travelers, you can only do tours that are already running and as you can see, most tours require a minimum of 4 people to operate. You can join tours that are already running or if you want to do a tour that is not open, you have to pay for the minimum number of spaces. For example, if a tour requires a minimum of 4 people to run, you have to pay for 4 adult prices.

We will email you with availability and let you know what tours are available for you to join or if the tour you want is running.

Can I pay with credit card or cash?

The invoice we send you can be paid via credit card or Paypal. No cash.

    Hello!

First, thank you so much for all the time and work you’ve put into you page. I have spent HOURS reading and learning SO much!!

We are heading out from California to Gunacaste in a few days. It will be my husband, 6 year old and 3 year old. I see that most of these tours have a minimum age of 4 or more. Are there any that you might recommend for our entire family of 4?

    Thank you, in advance!

In that case, tour companies will then normally require you to book it as a private tour if its possible to do with a 3 year old or for some, it’s just not possible at all unfortunately
