Diamante Eco Adventure Park Discount FAQ
Do I need to make a reservation or can I show up without and still get the discount?
We now have 3 ways to get our discount!
- Book and make a reservation via this form with us
- Book online on the Diamante website to make reservations and use our “mytanfeet” promo code to get our discount
- Arrive at the park without a reservation and tell the front desk our “mytanfeet” promo code
Booking with us:
We recommend to book via this form with us so that we can make your reservation and give you all the details and information regarding your tour. But you can perfectly book directly on the Diamante website, especially if you need transportation.
Booking online:
You can book all activities on the Diamante website and enter our “mytanfeet” promo code to get our discount. Best way if you need transportation or want to do multiple activities as you can book it all at once.
Arriving at the park without a reservation:
If you go to the park without a prior reservation, tell the front desk you’d like the “mytanfeet” discount and they will apply it when you pay.
However, we highly recommend reserving in advance online, especially in high season (December – May and June-August) for ziplining, horseback riding and ATV tours. The park gets super busy and if you just show up, you may not be guaranteed a spot at the time you want because there are only so many spaces.
Please remember you can only use one discount code at a time and if you book a tour with a tour operator or company, you can’t get the discount. If you need transportation and want the discount, make sure you book only transportation, not a tour.
How do I pay and get the Diamante discount Costa Rica?
The way this works is you fill out the form and we will send you the reservation. You’ll pay when you arrive at the front desk and they will apply the 10% discount.
What activities or passes does the park offer?
The park offers the following passes:
- Adventure pass: Ziplining, animal sanctuary, cultural experience, buffet lunch, botanical garden and ocean activities (use of hammocks, kayaks, snorkel equipment and SUP boards). This takes around 5-6 hours for the whole thing.
- Aerial pass: Ziplining tour. This canopy tour takes around 1 hour.
- Discovery pass: Animal sanctuary (self guided).
- Cultural experience. Animal sanctuary + 1 hour traditional house experience with cacao, chocolate and sugar cane
They also offer 1 hour ATV and horseback riding tours. You can get 10% off any of these activities too!
Does Diamante offer transportation?
Yes! From the Riu, they have a complimentary shuttle every 30 minutes which will be waiting in front of the lobby. If you need transportation, we recommend to book on their website or call them directly (if you don’t see your location on their website) because some locations require a minimum amount of passengers.
Our form only books the passes.
Where is their park?
Here is Diamante on Google Maps:
You don’t need a 4×4 to drive there as it’s on a paved road (though there are some pot holes). From Coco, it is about 30 minutes. From Tamarindo, it is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. It is right next to the Riu Hotel Guanacaste.
Is there an age or weight limit for the zipline or other activities?
The zipline requires a minimum weight of 86 lbs (40 kgs) for the whole canopy tour. It is 27 kgs (60 lbs) for the short ziplines. The maximum weight is 280 lbs. The minimum age for the horseback riding tour is 8 years old and 16 for the ATV tour to go on a single. For a child to go with an adult on the ATV tour, the minimum age is 8 years old.
I’m traveling alone. Can I still book the pass and get the discount?
Yes! Diamante is a large park so they always have activities going on and you can go as a solo traveler.
I’m not booking the Adventure Pass but I would like lunch. Can I add that to my reservation?
Yes! The easiest way is to add it when you arrive at the park. Just let the front desk know when you check in that you’d like to add lunch and they’ll charge you the total (no discount for lunch).
