One of our all time favorite outdoor things to do in La Fortuna is canyoning, or waterfall rappelling. The first time I ever went canyoning was with Yeison, my brother and his wife and two friends. It has been one of my most cherished memories since I moved to Costa Rica and still one of our favorites in La Fortuna.
This tour takes you deep into the rainforest to jump down tall waterfalls, splash through pristine rivers and get soaked in refreshing tropical waters. To see what it’s like, you can read our post: La Fortuna canyoning and I guarantee you that it’ll be something any adventure lover will want to put on their “Costa Rica must do” list.
