Who is Mytanfeet Costa Rica Travel?
Hello!
We are Yeison and Samantha, the couple behind Mytanfeet Costa Rica Travel. We are a married couple living in Costa Rica full time.
Yeison (pronounced like Jason) is Costa Rican, born and raised.
Samantha moved to Costa Rica in 2012 from the United States.
We have been traveling together in Costa Rica since 2010 and love sharing our stories, tips and experiences on Mytanfeet Costa Rica Travel.
We loved it so much, that Mytanfeet became an official travel consultation and booking agency, so that we can further assist our readers with their Costa Rica vacation.

What Sets Up Apart From Other Costa Rica Blogs and Agencies
There are a lot of travel agents, agencies and blogs about Costa Rica and some of them have good information, some don’t.
But something most don’t have is the year round local perspective since they are all mostly written by foreigners who visited Costa Rica once in awhile, or some are here temporarily.
We live in Costa Rica year round and are constantly traveling around the country to update our content to bring you the latest information, as much as possible.
Something else we are proud to provide is premiere customer service when readers book their travel services through us. We respond to booking inquiries within 24 hours and are more than happy to help negotiate rates, provide on the ground assistance and offer our personal recommendations to our readers.
Mytanfeet is a registered Costa Rican travel consulting company based in Guanacaste. Mytanfeet LLC is registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel, Registration NO. ST44660.

I started reading your blog before our December trip to Costa Rica to celebrate my 70th birthday and it was the most helpful resource I found! So much wonderful, relevant and up to date information! We especially enjoyed our tour of the Bogarin Trail in La Fortuna which we wouldn’t have found if not for your blog. And, a shout out to Jacamar tours which you recommended. Our naturalist, Bernardo, was amazing and we saw more sloths and incredible birds than anywhere else on our trip in a beautiful, natural setting. Many Thanks!

Hi Renie, thanks for your feedback, we’re glad you had a good time!

Thank you so much for your blog. My husband and I have just visited CR for the first time and we loved it! And your blog was my bible – I used it for everything! And I booked car rental with Adobe – the best car rental experience I’ve ever had 🙂 We can’t wait to visit again and I can thank you enough for all the information you share. Thank you 🙂

By far the best, most accurate, and useful guide on visiting Costa Rica! Your information about rafting the Rio Pacuare was spot on. The recommendations for best beaches around Tamarindo to daytrip to were also fantastic – especially Playa Mina. During my trip I even saw a couple of Mytanfeet SUVs just outside of Tamarindo!

We just completed an 11 day vacation to CR and visited San Jose, Parrita, Monteverde, Tamarindo and LaFortuna. I am so glad we had this website and were able to use all of their valuable information! It was more than helpful! All of the tips you provided about visiting attractions (parks, waterfalls, etc) made things so much smoother! We loved our trip – it was an exhausting one but well worth it to see so many parts of the country~ thank you Mytanfeet!

We are landing in San Jose and traveling to Arenal, Manual Antonio and taking tours from the hotels there. Which Ebooks would be applicable to those places.
Sammi says
You will want to get the eBook for La Fortuna, we don’t have one for San Jose or Manuel Antonio yet
Arenal is the name of the volcano that is next to the town of La Fortuna so technically you are going to La Fortuna (the actual name of the area)

I have to say, mytanfeet was invaluable to our 8 day trip to CR, which ended just a couple days ago.
We rented our car through you (Adobe) and all went smoothly, and for a much better price than we were able to find on our own. And I love how responsive your team is to emailed questions. It was like having friends who live in CR and are happy to share their inside info w/ you! My wife (Wei) booked the trip, and found you and used you a lot more than I, but I would recommend you w/out hesitation to any of my friends who travel to CR. I hope we can find a “partner” like you whenever we travel elsewhere abroad. Pura vida, my new friends!
