Your journey on this half day outdoor adventure begins with a fun and scenic truck ride to the operation center, which is where you will outfitted with the waterfall rappelling gear.
Your guide will also give you the safety talk and after everyone is ready, you'll walk about 5 minutes to the first platform. Starting the tour off with a bang, the first waterfall you canyon down is nearly 200 feet! (60 meters).
The entire tour consists of 4 waterfall rappels, down 3 waterfalls and 1 rock wall deep into the pristine rainforest. Included on this canyoning tour is a thrilling Monkey Drop, where you'll zipline across a canyon and then drop into a refreshing pool of water.
Your heart will be pumping and you won't stop smiling throughout this entire adventure and at the end, you'll be taken back to the lunch spot for a hearty, delicious Costa Rican farm to table lunch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know how to swim?
No. There is no swimming involved in the canyoning tour. However, you will get wet!
The optional Monkey Drop drops you into a shallow pool and the guides will assist you to get out immediately. You are also attached via a harness with a guide on either end at all times while doing the rappels.
Do I need to have any previous experience?
No. You do not need to know how to waterfall rappel or have gone before.
Our professional guides will assist you the entire time and you will be geared up and equipped with all the safety equipment. There is one guide at the top of the line and another at the bottom, to hold and help you at all times. Never at any time are you free falling, or free jumping.
The guides will give you a safety talk before the tour to show you how to use the gear, how to hold the rope, how to jump and more.
If at any time you have trouble, any of the guides will be happy to help you.
What is the age requirement?
This tour is family friendly with a minimum of 5 years. No maximum age limit but you cannot have any sort of back, ankle, wrist, or knee problems as you will be strapped in a harness and required to bend your arms, legs, elbows and knees.
Guests up to 80 years with good stamina and no weak joints are able to do the tour as the guides assist you the whole time on each rappel.
Do I need to be in good shape?
This tour requires a moderate fitness level. You don't need to be a marathon runner but you do need to be able to hold yourself on your own as it requires a little strength.
Nobody with any serious medical condition is allowed, including but not limited to pregnant women, those with major back conditions, those with heart conditions, those who have had recent major surgery and those with broken limbs.
Fear or refusal to participate after booking the tour and starting the excursion will not result in a refund, the guest will forfeit the tour and payment if they back out at any time during the tour due to fear or their own personal hesitation.
If at any point of the tour you are deemed under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you will forfeit the tour.
Are there weight restrictions?
The maximum weight limit is 280 lbs (127 kgs) and the participant must fit a within a 44 inch harness waist and 32 inch leg width of the harness. If over the weight limit or cannot fit into the harness, guest cannot participate.
Is there any walking required on this tour?
There is some walking required. You will need to walk to the first platform and then a little bit in between the last rappel back to the truck. You will be wet and have to walk with your equipment on.
What happens if it rains?
This tour will run rain or shine. However, in case of dangerous or inclement weather, natural disasters, that prevent the tour from running safely, the tour operator will cancel and either give you a full refund or offer the option to reschedule.
If it is raining and the tour continues to run safely, but you decide to cancel, the cancellation policies will apply.
What shoes can I wear?
The best shoes are a closed toed hiking sandal or water shoe. No loose shoes, any sandal must have two straps (front and heel ankle strap). Closed toed is best.
You can wear sneakers but remember, you're going to get very wet!
The tour operator does not rent shoes.
If you wear glasses, you should use the glasses strap or wear contacts. They will not be responsible if you lose your glasses.
What clothes should I wear?
We recommend a swimsuit and then a comfortable loose fitting shirt like a sun shirt or dry fit t shirt and board shorts. We do not recommend jeans or heavy clothing, as you will be getting very wet and then those clothes will take forever to dry.
What is the schedule?
If you do the morning schedule, you will normally do the canyoning first and then have lunch. If you do the afternoon schedule, you normally have lunch first, and then go canyoning.
When can I buy the photos?
After the tour. You will be taken back to their headquarters to have lunch and change and the photographer will show you the photos there. You can purchase it from them at that moment using cash or credit card.
