Description
Your full day rainforest adventure from La Fortuna combines two exciting adventures in one day: waterfall rappelling (canyoning) and the river rainforest falls.
Your itinerary depends on conditions for the day, so you may go canyoning first or go on the rainforest falls adventure first.
The canyoning tour consists of 4 rappels: 3 down waterfalls and 1 down a rock wall. For your first descent, you'll rappel down a nearly 200 foot waterfall in a pristine canyon!
There is also an optional, exciting Monkey Drop where you'll zipline across a canyon, and be dropped into a refreshing pool of water.
For the rainforest falls adventure, it has 2 waterfall rappels and 3 optional jumps into river pools, ranging from 4.5 meters (15 feet) to 11 meters (36 feet) to send your heart pumping! The first waterfall descent is 32 meter (104 foot) waterfall, starting the tour off with a bang!
When you have lunch depends on the schedule for the day, and you'll refuel your energy with a hearty, traditional Costa Rican farm to table lunch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know how to swim?
You don't need to know how to swim for the canyoning tour, but it is required to know how to swim for the Rainforest Falls, as you will swim through the rivers and pools throughout the tour.
Every participant in the Rainforest Falls has to wear a life jacket. Life jackets are not given during the canyoning tour.
Will I get wet?
Yes! Be prepared to get very wet for both tours.
When is lunch?
Lunch will be either in between the tours or at the end of both tours, it is dependent upon the itinerary which the guide will inform you of when you are picked up.
Please make sure you have a good breakfast and you can bring some snacks, because if you have lunch at the end of both tours, it will not be until about 3 PM.
What if it rains?
These tours runs rain or shine. However, the tour will be cancelled if there is inclement weather that prohibits the tour from running safely such as landslides, mudslides, lightning strikes, natural disasters and the such.
In that case, we will inform you of the situation and offer you options to reschedule or cancel with a refund.
What is the age limit?
To participate in both tours, the minimum age limit is 8. If you have children younger than 8, they cannot participate in Rainforest Falls. If they are at least 5 years of age, they can participate in the canyoning tour.
We will be happy to assist you in arranging and organizing the tours for your group, please let us know the ages of each participant. For every child not doing a tour, they must be accompanied by an adult.
Are there any other restrictions?
For both tours, pregnant women, those with recent major surgeries, those with ankles, legs, wrists, elbow and feet problems, those with major back issues, those with heart problems are not allowed. Please let us know your situation in the comments so we can verify if you are able to do the tour.
The weight limit is 280 lbs (127 kgs). Largest waist size of the harness is 44 inches and maximum leg harness size is 32 inches at the upper leg. Those over the weight limit and/or do not fit the harness cannot participate.
If participant has any of those conditions or any condition that was not informed to Mytanfeet and Pure Trek, and the condition does not allow the participant to complete or join the excursion, the participant will forfeit the tour.
There are no refunds if the client decides to back out of the tour due to fear or personal hesitation and they do not complete or join the tour.
