Discover the nature and culture of La Fortuna on this combination tour. First, you'll be taken to the breathtaking La Fortuna waterfall, to observe the 75 foot waterfall esconced in the rainforest from an observation platform. When you're ready, you'll walk 500+ steps down to the pool, where you can refresh yourself in the crisp waters, enjoy more beautiful rainforest scenery or dip your toes in the calm river.
After experiencing one of the most beloved waterfalls in the country, you'll go to the tour operator's private farm and restaurant, for an interesting and enlightening tour of their organic garden.
Learn the secrets of the local farming techniques, the most important crops of Costa Rica and indulge in a yummy farm to table traditional Costa Rican lunch, complete with natural fruit juice and coffee. Also have opportunities to see birds and walk the farm's nature trails.

Can I swim in La Fortuna waterfall?
Yes. The waterfall park staff will let the tour guide know if the conditions are suitable for swimming. If they are, you may swim in the pool or in the river. If not, please follow the rules as they are for safety purposes.
The waterfall park has bathrooms and changing rooms and the tour guide will have towels for you.
How long do we spend at the waterfall?
You will spend around 2.5 hours at the waterfall and then be taken to the farm. At the farm, you'll have around 1.5 hours for the farm tour and lunch.
Will we see any wildlife on this tour?
Yes, it is possible to see birds and frogs at the farm as the farm has a separate section with nature trails.
Do we have to cook anything at the farm?
No. Lunch will be prepared for you.
During the farm tour, your guide will show you various crops and if allowed, you may be able to pick some.
What is the driving time between the destinations?
La Fortuna downtown to the waterfall is around 15 minutes.
The waterfall to the farm is around 15 minutes.
