Description
This tour was designed for those who enjoy hiking and walking as you will visit three of La Fortuna's most beloved tourist attractions: Mistico Hanging Bridges Park, La Fortuna Waterfall and Arenal Volcano.
At the hanging bridges park, you'll walk through a 3 km (1.9 mile) network of 6 suspended hanging bridges and 10 fixed bridges to see the rainforest from a different perspective. Your knowledgeable guide will point out any animals they see along the way and you'll enjoy views of the rainforest and Arenal Volcano from several of the bridges.
Afterwards, you'll head to La Fortuna Waterfall, one of the most beloved waterfalls in the country. Walk down 500+ steps to the beautiful pool where you can refresh yourself in the crisp clean waters.
Next up is lunch at a private restaurant, where you'll indulge in a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch, complete with natural fruit juice and coffee.
The last hike of the day is to Arenal Volcano, where you'll meander through solidified lava fields and lava rocks, remnants of the 1968 eruption. End the walk at a view point, where you can sit and admire Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal.
