On this combination tour, embark on an exciting adventure and soak in the pristine nature while you zipline over the rainforests and then horseback ride through a private reserve to see Arenal Volcano up close.
The horseback riding tour goes through a horse only trail in a private reserve, to ride through sugar cane and wood plantations, green pastures and old growth forests. All horses are calm, well cared and trained, to ensure the riders safety and the horses themselves.
For the canopy tour, you'll fly over the rainforests near Arenal Volcano for stunning birds-eye views. The entire zipline circuit has 13 platforms and 8 cables with different intensity, length, speed, and views, ideal for families and first timers.
Add some more excitement to your day by jumping off a platform to Tarzan swing into the jungle during the ziplining!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any previous experience?
No. You do not need previous experience for the ziplining and horseback riding.
The horses are well trained, calm and gentle and the guide will choose the appropriate horse for your riding level.
The guide will teach you how to navigate your horse but as the horses are well trained on the trail, you do not need to be an experienced rider. The horses know where to go.
For ziplining, the guide will show you how to brake and other safety regulations. Helmets are mandatory and to be worn at all times. Gloves will be given to all guests which must be worn at all times.

What is the minimum age requirement for the tour?
Children must be at least 7 years old to participate in both activities.
For the horseback riding, every participant, including children, will ride their own horse. For the ziplining, young children will go with a guide in the same harness.
If there are children younger than 7 but at least 5 years of age in your group, the child can do the zipline activity. A parent/guardian can sit out with the young child during the horseback riding and wait for the rest of the group.
There will be a different rate if you do only the ziplining or only the horseback riding. Please write a note in the comment section if you need to break up your group.
What is the Tarzan Swing and is it mandatory?
The Tarzan Swing is an optional activity. You can decide during the tour when you get to the Tarzan swing if you would like to do it or not.
If you do not do the tarzan swing, you will wait for the other participants at bottom of the tower. You can watch those doing the tarzan swing. You cannot continue on the circuit on your own as you need to wait for the guides and the rest of the group to finish the tarzan swing.
Do I need to brake by myself on the zipline?
Yes, for some of the cables, manual hand braking is required. During the safety talk, the guides will show you how to manually brake by hand yourself. During the circuit, the guides will let you know which cables require manual hand braking. Manual hand braking does require some arm strength to pull down on the cable.
Are there weight or height restrictions?
For ziplining, the maximum waist width cannot exceed 50.4 inches (130 cm) due to the size of the harness.
For horseback riding, the maximum weight is 99 kilos or 220 lbs.
Pregnant women, people with epilepsy and people who had recent major surgery in the last 6 months or have major health conditions are not allowed to participate.
Can I drive to the park and meet the group there?
Yes. If you have your own transportation and do not want the transportation from the tour operator, you can drive to the park yourself and meet the guide. We will send you the exact location and arrival time. There is free on-site parking.
There is no further additional discount if you provide your own transportation. If you are late and do not meet the group on time, you will forfeit the tour and it is a 100% penalty fee.
