As one of the best family friendly adventure parks in Guanacaste, Rincon Thermals & Adventures offers visitors a complete day of adventure, wellness, culture, nature and relaxation in their 350 acre (142 hectare) park, adjacent to the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, in the Guanacaste province.
Choose from two passes: Explore, for those who want to do the adventure activities and Nature, who want to just relax and enjoy a day in nature. Adventure activities include a mild but fun zipline tour, a leisure horseback ride and an exciting jungle water slide.
Explore Pass: Ziplining, horseback riding, jungle water slide, thermal hot springs, mud baths, hiking trails, lunch and cultural experience.
Nature Pass: Thermal hot springs, mud baths, waterfall, hanging bridge, cultural experience, bird watching, lunch.

- Tour must be prepaid in full to book and confirmation will be sent upon booking.
- Transportation is not included but can be added for an extra cost.
- Not suitable for those who recently had major surgery and those with severe heart conditions. Hot springs, ziplining, horseback riding and water slide are not suitable for pregnant women.
- Maximum weight limit for horseback riding and ziplining is 300 lbs (136 kilos).
- The highest cable on the ziplining tour is 50 meters and longest is 430 meters.
- Minimum age is 5 in order to participate in all activities. Children 0-4 do not have a fee and cannot participate in the horseback riding, ziplining or water slide.
- Maximum weight for horseback riding is 270 lbs (122 kilos).
- Park is open from 830 AM to 430 PM. You can arrive as early as you like and stay as long as you wish.
- 1 hour drive from Guanacaste Airport (airport code LIR).
What to Bring
Towels, sunscreen, hat, sun protection clothing, sunglasses, swimsuit, change of clothes, sandals for hot springs and closed toed shoes for horseback riding and ziplining.

Can people in my group do different passes?
Yes! Just write a note in the comment section who wants to do different passes so you don’t have to fill out the form multiple times. Include the names of the adults and children as well as children’s ages if there are any.
Are there vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options for lunch?
Yes! Please write a note in the comment section for any dietary restrictions or food allergies.
When should I arrive?
The park is open between 830 AM and 430 PM and you may arrive at any time.
However, if you are doing the Explore Pass, please make sure you are at the park at least 20 minutes before your designated zipline time. We highly recommend to arrive as early as possible in the morning to enjoy the whole park with plenty of time.
