Description
During this tour, you'll be taken into the mountains outside of Quepos, to a private property with its own stables and horse riding trails. Your guide will help you get set up with the appropriate horse according to your experience level and once ready, you'll set off into the jungle on your trusty steed, following the local expert guides.
During this 2.5 hour round trip horseback ride, your guide will share with you interesting stories and facts about the property, Manuel Antonio, Quepos and the area. They'll stop to point out any wildlife they see during the ride and highlight fascinating flora along the way.
As you ride up the mountain, to a maximum altitude of 600 meters (1900 feet), you'll stop about halfway through the ride at a picturesque waterfall, where you'll dismount and walk down to the waterfall pool for about 30 minutes. During this break, you can swim in the pool if conditions allow or just take a rest.
After your rest, you'll ride back the same trail to the stables. Upon return, you will refuel with a delicious traditional Costa Rican made with farm fresh ingredients.
