- Pick up time starts at 7 AM (dependent on your pick up location). Return is approximately 2-3 PM.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: If the tour is cancelled in less than 24 hours of tour time and date, it is a 100% penalty fee. If cancelled outside the 24 hour window, we will give a full refund minus a e% administration service fee.
All cancellation requests must be written to us via email and confirmed in writing via email to be taken into effect. No refunds for no shows. No refunds for cancellations the day of the tour, no refunds if you are late and miss the bus.
No refunds if you leave early on the tour. Refunds are given the same way invoices were completed. If cancellation is made 180 days after the initial payment date, refunds are given only via Paypal. For groups of 10+, the cancellation policy is 100% penalty if cancelled in less than 72 hours. If cancelled outside the 72 hour window, we will give a full refund minus a 5% administration service fee.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this experience require a lot of walking?
No. There is very minimal walking and strenuous movement on this tour. The only walking you will do is to the restaurant and to the boat dock. The rest of the tour is sitting on the bus and then on the boat.
How long is the bus ride?
The bus ride from La Fortuna downtown to Los Chiles boat dock is approximately 1.5 hours. You will make a couple of stops along the way, including one bathroom stop.
What kinds of animals will we see on the tour?
Wildlife is not predictable, so what you see is not guaranteed. However, animals you are likely to see are howler monkeys, white face monkeys, spider monkeys, sloths, otters, iguanas, kingfishers, herons, aningas, bats, caimans, crocodiles, gray-cowled wood rail, Great Potoo, hawks and river turtles.
Are children allowed on the tour?
Yes. This is a fantastic tour for young children because there is no minimum age requirement. Babies and infants may join the tour, as long as they are with an adult at all times.
Are binoculars included?
No. Binoculars and telescopes are not included. You may bring your own if you wish. The guide will have viewing equipment with them and will allow you to look through them.
Can you accommodate my food allergies/diet restrictions for the lunch?
Yes, absolutely. Lunch is a traditional Costa Rican lunch plate of rice, beans, salad and protein, complete with a small desert, juice, water and coffee. Please inform us of any food allergy or diet restriction when making the reservation in the comment section.
Can I drive and meet you at the dock?
Yes, this is an option if you prefer to drive and meet the boat at the Los Chiles dock. There is no reduction in the price if you do not take the free transportation from La Fortuna. Please write a note in the comment section and we will let you know what time you need to be at the dock and where you can park.
Are there any additional fees?
No, Mytanfeet includes everything on their rates, there are no booking fees or extra taxes. Gratuities are optional and they are not included in the rate. If you wish to give a gratuity, cash in USD or CRC is accepted.
